1Open Auto-Tasks
In the bot: '⏰ Auto-Tasks' → 'Create'. The bot will ask for a name, model (GPT-4 mini or Gemini Flash works well for digests – it's fast and cheap), schedule, and the prompt itself.
2Set the Schedule
Options include hourly, every 3/6/12 hours, daily at a specific time, specific days of the week, or weekly. For your morning digest: daily at 8:00 AM in your timezone.
3The Digest Prompt
Here's the main rule: to keep your digest fresh every time, the prompt should either reference the date (the model will automatically use today's) or use web search. Prompts with web search enabled feel especially dynamic.
4Enable Web Search
In the auto-task settings, check 'Enable web search.' Without it, the model will just make up news from its training data, which will be old. With web search, the bot actually pulls info from the internet when it runs.
5Save and Test
Once saved, hit 'Run Now' – the bot will execute the task as if the set time arrived. This confirms your prompt works. If the results are boring, edit the prompt. Add specifics like 'AI news' or 'fitness ideas.'
